Written exam: (min. passing grade 80%)

Pre-requisite is current SFA CPR/AED C or HCP. Proof of certification is required.

Includes the latest First Aid and CPR Guidelines. Meets the Paramedic Association of Canada National Occupational Competency Profiles for the practitioner level of emergency medical responder (EMR).
This course provides the knowledge and skills necessary to identify life-threatening emergencies, help sustain life, reduce pain, and minimize the consequences of injury or sudden illness. Ultimately this program equips the participant with the knowledge and confidence needed to function in a pre-hospital environment as a member of the local health services delivery team.
